Well, of course, wildgrass.

How a politician handles special interest groups will affect his/her image with voters.
What's funny here, is, we have two such special interest groups vying for the love.

Women are far more numerous than trans women, so my money is on them
Maybe, I was more pointing to the political instinct of Republicans to propose government bureaucratic fixes to things that can and should be handled by the organization.

I guess their voters like that kind thing?

As a Libertarian, I would love to see the government stay the heck out of it, however, that won't happen.

IMO, the proper way to handle the situation is to categorize athletes according to body sex, not gender identification,
as it is the body that determines one's ability to perform athletically, not the mind. The whole idea to boys/girls teams
was to let girls have teams of their own where they could compete on a more level playing field.

Anyway, I am glad that enough people have seen the light.

😢I just want stupidity like this to quit influencing the country and world. I’m not evil or small minded, for understanding the truth it’s makes people like this blind and self centered and entitled. Do you have any thoughts on the actual subject.

I agree with the decision.
But, it is problematic. The decision does mean that a group of athletes can’t compete. And that isn’t fair either.

So, society has to come up with solutions.
Mine would be to ban professional sports and degrade them to games adults play when they’re bored. Nothing is more tedious than taking sports “personalities” serious.

Oh… you know how to kick a ball! Whoop-di-wooo for you.
I blind type at 419 ticks a minute with a 96% correct rate (not on this bloody smartphone, though).

Ohhhhh… you can race around a track! Wow!
I drove from Pforzheim to Utrecht in under 4,5 hours. Without getting a speeding ticket.

Oh, you can hit a ball with a racket. Bloody amazing!
I got banned from badminton for beating an umpire up with the bloody racket!

Up yours sports people! You bore me.

What would your solution be?

I have said jokingly in a way to make a point with no hate just humor. The only truly fair thing would be to have a separate division. I don’t like watching sports often either. On the other hand, playing organized sports from the 6th grade, the competition, teammates, pushing yourself past limits, and working hard (kinda😁) towards goals and excelling is hard if you haven’t done it. It’s important to them for many reasons your not taking into consideration and you lack of understanding doesn’t make it wrong.

The other problem is many of these athletes are of quality, they just cant obtain their own personal goals in their own divisions so they jump over to do so. Also with youth, cancel culture and being woke to the extreme is the in thing right now for their 15 minutes of fame.

Would a testosterone cutoff line be the answer...

Seemingly not.
And if it is, what do you do with females with more testosteron?

In my opinion this lays bare the folly of professional sports.

Words on deaf ears. Do we need to reduce testosterone in the males and should people that agree with this logic be dumping money into a drug the enhances the females that want to compete in male sports. YOU HAVE IT OR YOU DON’T, MALE/FEMALE SPOTS DIVISIONS!! IF YOUR NOT TALENTED ENOUGH IN THESE DIVISIONS THATS LIFE DEAL WOTH IT, ITS HEALTHY (MORE EX’s NEEDED) ???

There are fun runs for ex., and all other kinds of things to compete in everyone else does.
