WOW, it would have been an actual appropriate statement for Trump to just come out and say Liz wants war. That would be a BIT different than bringing up guns implying she is such a coward she would never use it in actual warfare if she was in our military.
So besides bring up guns, he is LITERALLY calling her a coward.
