I've said many times on this board that I am loath to question the judgment of factfinders in a legal setting who have access to all the information when I do not. The recommendation may or may not be followed; it's up to the judge's discretion. A short period of incarceration, like in the Rose case, isn't out of the question.

Thanks for that. It conclusively shows that's AJ's assertion that Hunter dropped the gun in a trash can near a school is false.
That incident seems to have led to the charge against Hunter for making a false assertion on the form to buy a pistol. As your article says:
"Lying on the form is a felony, though prosecutions for it are exceedingly rare."

1) Kodak Black got 3 years IN JAIL for putting the wrong social Security number on his gun app. He did not get a pretrial diversion.
Threw away the key.
2)Rapper Fat Joe got 4 months in prison for failing to file his taxes;
3)Singer Lauren Hill got 3 months for not paying taxes on $1M.
4). Then there is rapper, JA RULE, he was sent to prison,,,,,case was exactly the same as Hunter's, failed to pay tax on $3M. Exactly the same. Exactly the same as Hunter's. Exactly the same.
All of these people were black people.

So the same as Pete Rose. Pete got 5 months in prison.
Hunters dad is certainly a wealthy man, so only a halfwit would expect him to do time in the US for this, or in fact most places.
