The day that Donald Trump got shot in the ear by a sniper while engaging in a rally in Pennsylvania, doctor Jill Biden was doing
a fundraiser in the same state, Pennsylvania.
The US Secret Service had to protect both people by law. The set up:
Jill Biden's event was indoors with just a few hundred people in attendance
Trump's event was outdoors with about 25,000 in attendance
Further, the CIA had learned of a Trump assassination plan by Iran.
Here's how the USSS metered out agents to protect these people
12 agents covering Jill Biden, and 3 covering Donald Trump.
Also, the agent that was covering the roof that the assassin shot from, took himself out of service because it was too hot.
There is no defense and that is why the head of USSS, Cheatle, resigned so quickly

That isn't counting the sniper(s) the Secret Service had. The SS sniper had his rifle trained on the assassin on the roof and didn't get the ok for the kill shot until after the 8 shots rang out. That was weird, but even weirder was no one running for cover, that is just instinct. Looks quite suspicious to me.

I couldn't believe it when the shots rang out and no one moved they all ducked, but usually people will run when there is a shooter. Perhaps they were in shock at what was happening. Who knows how anyone is going to react under fire.
