Here is a Sue for you: I have a company, I pay $25 an hour to people who work on the lathe machinery. I pay the job, not the person. (oops, I already lost you).
So Sue thinks I should look at each worker and see how much they need to live on. (living wage, I think they call it, but never define it). In other words, pay the worker, not the job. (I have REALLY lost you now).
We have tio debate with these people.. They think I should pay Ralph, with 5 kids, more than I pay D'quintas, single, who works on the lathe with him.
The debates become boring when such analogies are laid out and they write back about Trump and bank accounts and other peoples' stuff.
