Was fauci lying?
Was Carlson lying?
Either they were both lying or they both told the truth. Which is it?
@wildgrass saidI think you might have been trying to be funny?
ummm.... wow.
this story has everything. drug pushers, alleged rape, corporate america, capitalism, DEMOCRACY, Christ, Christmas, the planet, over-sensitive snowflakes.
get in line for the new Disney ride.
The theory is feasible, all it takes is for the dollars Fox receive from the mega drug corps to be more than the money lost from Tuckers departure.
And they're all on the the payroll of the mega drug corps. CNN, Fox, MSNBC etc. The coerced clotshot issue has been roughly divided; left versus right, and it is the left, the very people who often are 'over sensitive snowflakes' about people and Co's being wealthy who have been doing the bidding of Co's that are now like nothing we've ever seen in history, we need a new adjective beyond 'mega'.
The mega drug corps now have huge influence on media and goobermint. Woe to politicians and media people that speak against them.
Thanks lefties.
@moonbus saidTucker Carlson Is More Popular Than Fox News.
One doesn't get fired for telling a lie. One gets fired when one becomes a liability to the company, when one costs the company more than the value one adds to the company's assets. That's how capitalism works. It's that bloody simple. What part of "profit" don't you understand ?

The $787.5 million settlement Fox agreed to pay is a lot. But its net cost will likely be much less.
https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/20/business/fox-dominion-settlement-tax-deduction/index.html
You don't even know how much Fox News will end up paying Dominion. Furthermore, if Tucker did not tell a lie then how did he become a liability to Fox News? Explain yourself.
There are certain topics you are not supposed to talk about. Just being against the Iraq war got Phil Donahue fired. Tucker was silenced for telling the truth. That is why Fox News will not tell anybody why they silenced Tucker.

Tucker was not fired. News media outlets are still falsely reporting he was fired. He is getting paid leave, which explains why he is not complaining all that much. He is enjoying the paid leave.

All cable news have the same business model... clicks and eyeballs. Eyeballs and clicks. They have zero financial incentive to say things that you disagree with, to try to change your mind on any issue. Tucker is a master of saying nothing at all. Imagine Tucker Carlson convincing one person something they did not already know to be true. I cant. If you think big pharma thinks they needed to spend a billion dollars to silence Tucker Carlson then I can't talk you out of that insanity.
Shareholders would revolt if backroom billions were being handed out to bobblehead dolls for nothing.
@wildgrass saidIsn't it a double standard? If it is, why do you condone it?
Well, it was you who wrote it was a double standard.
Shouldn't Fauci have been fired for deliberately lying?

Fauci told a truth that you do not like so you call it a lie.
@kevcvs57 saidNo he did not. You are contradicting yourself. They both did the same thing. The only difference is the subject material.

If Fauci did not lie neither did Carlson.
If Calson lied so did Fauci.

I’d like to see big pharma being forced to lower the costs of essential everyday drugs like insulin but they are far from the biggest bidder for congress.
@Metal-Brain
So that explains why he is launching a lawsuit suing Fox. I guess a half billion is not enough.

I post this regularly because I don't think it's sunk in.

I am a libertarian so never use the equivalency tactic i.e. bytch, bleat, whine, party A are doing Y (something very wrong) that means party B should be able to do Z (something wrong).
If you want to know what to do about drug prices, less goobermint, not more, is the answer. Check out 'Dallas Buyers Club', you will receive the message with stark crystal clear clarity, a true story.
Unfortunately like the lists of vax injured and killed there is an aspect of pain and suffering to the film, but this only powers up the comedic effect and LOLs for you, your misanthropy and your buddies. Nether the less, the message is there, despite the corruption of Mexico it's less than what happens in Washington, not because of a morality issue, it's because the money is so big.

@wildgrass saidFauci lied. We already know that. He admitted he lied and people like you believe the admitted liar when he told you which time he lied. Are claiming Fauci also lied to his friend in the email when he told him not to wear a mask? That would mean he secretly didn't want his friend to be protected from covid, right?
I think you should answer this, since you called it a double standard.
Tucker reportedly emailed that he didn't believe the election was stolen from him, but that does not prove Dominion voting machines did not flip votes from Trump to Biden. All that proves is he did not believe enough votes were flipped to effect the outcome of the election. It does not prove Dominion machines are not deeply flawed and deserve scrutiny.
Did Tucker claim on air that the election was stolen from Trump?
