@kmax87 saidNo, that is a lie and a pathetic one. Stop making up crap out of nowhere!
No twitter has a malfunctioning spam-bot and its threshold settings are a little hair-trigger at the moment. Once they can get the AI to loosen up a bit things will be fine.
It is Twitter's change in policy. Learn to read.
Do you understand what a policy is?
@metal-brain saidI dispute that "twitter bans the truth". You may still post things that are true.
Are you disputing that Twitter is censoring the truth?
The truth is not misinformation.
Did you even read the link Shav posted from Twitter?
I further dispute: "witter will now ban users that repeatedly claim vaccinated people can spread Covid."
That is a blatant lie.
I did read the link and found the points reasonable. You show where the fact that vaccinated people can infect others is banned and you are ion board for a discussion.

@metal-brain saidOh sheesh. You're going to make me defend Twitter? I hate it too.
Are you condoning censorship of the truth?
But are you on Twitter? This kind of stuff you refer to is everywhere. The platform has the right to curate content however they want. They get constantly spam-botted with misinformation. Constantly. They need to make decisions about what they allow or don't allow on their website, since their main goal and source of revenue is entertainment of its users.
I'm on twitter now. If you search for "vaccinated spreading covid" there are thousands upon thousands of posts that are saying the exact thing that you are saying is banned. Twitter is not banning this content, but they are limiting the amount of misinformation or they will be over run with COVIDIOTS.
Whatever the article you posted is saying, this is not happening in reality.

@metal-brain saidSure I understand policies. For one I have a policy to tolerate the incessant crud you post with good nature and humour. Whats your policy towards common sense uncomplicated reason?
No, that is a lie and a pathetic one. Stop making up crap out of nowhere!
It is Twitter's change in policy. Learn to read.
Do you understand what a policy is?
@wildgrass saidTwitter is violating it's own stated policies. Here is one:

Whatever the article you posted is saying, this is not happening in reality.
"be demonstrably false or misleading, based on widely available, authoritative sources"
Vaccinated people can get and spread the virus. The CDC said so.
Twitter also said this on the link shav posted:
"What is not a violation of this policy?
Public debate about the advancement of COVID-19 science and research, including debate about research related to COVID-19, such as the effectiveness of treatments and mitigation measures, so long as the claims don’t intentionally misrepresent research findings."
If I say what the CDC said it falls into the Twitter category of "What is not a violation of this policy". Twitter is clearly contradicting itself.
"But are you on Twitter? "
NO!
"Twitter is not banning this content, but they are limiting the amount of misinformation or they will be over run with COVIDIOTS"
The truth is not misinformation. Are you claiming the CDC lied to all of us?
So a guy like shav is free to post misinformation after the truth he falsely claimed was a lie is censored. Do you know how many times that covidiot claimed they are not gene vaccines? That isn't misinformation because he knows he is lying, that makes it disinformation.
Twitter knows they are censoring the truth and it is not false info.
"Whatever the article you posted is saying, this is not happening in reality"
What is your source of information? Limiting the number of times you can tell the truth doesn't mean they are not censoring the truth. So they let you correct people spreading misinformation twice, then the misinformation spreaders can continue to do what Twitter claims is against their policy and you are not allowed to correct that misinformation.
Your political bias has diminished your common sense logic. You are condoning censoring the truth and don't want to admit it.

@metal-brain saidYou missed the part where I noted that the "truth" you are claiming is banned is, in reality, widely accessible on Twitter. It's not banned.

@metal-brain saidIn fact you did post nonfactual theses as "truth", probably intentinonally , so you are a liar.
Twitter changed their rules to censor the truth.
You hate the truth too.
Since you have been proven not to represent actual truth several times, you are disqualified to judge on the matter.
12 Dec 21
@wildgrass saidOnly twice........then it is banned and misinformation is allowed that contradicts the truth......indefinitely. That is the clear promotion of misinformation, Twitter's own stated policy.
You missed the part where I noted that the "truth" you are claiming is banned is, in reality, widely accessible on Twitter. It's not banned.
Twitter is violating their own stated policy and you know it. You just condone the censorship because you are offended by the truth and want it censored.
12 Dec 21
@metal-brain saidWhat part of "it's not banned" do you not understand? Just go and check twitter for yourself.

@ponderable saidNope. The link said Twitter bans the truth and it does after the second time.

I didn't lie. Wildgrass is just making false assertions in a vain attempt to avoid admitting I am right and he is wrong.
Waiting 2 times before you ban someone doesn't mean nobody is banned from telling the truth and he knows it. He is resorting to strawman arguments because he knows he is wrong and doesn't want to debate fairly anymore. If he debated fairly he would lose and he knows it.

@wildgrass saidYour lying is pathetic!

Are you claiming Twitter has never censored information saying vaccinated people can spread covid? Yes or no?
12 Dec 21
@metal-brain saidNope. Not trying to claim that. I'm claiming they aren't currently banning users that claim vaccinated people can spread Covid. If you go to twitter you would see that.
Your lying is pathetic!
Are you claiming Twitter has never censored information saying vaccinated people can spread covid? Yes or no?
12 Dec 21
@wildgrass saidYou are trying to mislead us all. Nobody claimed Twitter is banning "all" users that claim that truth.
Nope. Not trying to claim that. I'm claiming they aren't currently banning users that claim vaccinated people can spread Covid. If you go to twitter you would see that.
I'm claiming they are currently banning users that claim vaccinated people can spread Covid, but I never claimed all users. Now you are spreading misinformation by implying the word "banned" requires all people to be banned for it the first time. That is not true.
If Twitter bans 2 people from making that claim, they are banning users for it.
@metal-brain saidYour links are a crock of 💩.
Nope. The link said Twitter bans the truth and it does after the second time.

Twitter has clear rules, which I linked to.
And suggesting that vaccinated people can spread corona (which is true) is not banned.
If you say ONLY vaccinated people spread the disease (which is NOT true), then twitter may have your post banned.
My original answer to your OP stands.
As does everyone else’s, because we all disagree with you, twitter disagrees with you and you can even find the proof by looking on twitter itself.
Man, the hole you’re digging is so deep even rabbits fear to burrow.
