This is a very interesting debate. Star I think you should find out what people in other parts of the world want before you decide if they would be happy being forced to become extra states of the US.

The US is not liked internationally! Does that not bother you?

Be carefull sitting in the US and thinking you know what every else wants.
Good point !

Oh my god, yes! I have to have everyone like me. Whenever I hear whispering, I frantically rush up to the people to make sure they're not talking about me.

Pleeeeeeease, oh please say that everyone likes me. And likes us. All of us! I don't think I can take it if someone were to disapprove.

Seriously, let's base our policy decisions on better things that whether or not the international popularity contest is going our way.

It'd be the same as if someone linked a porn site. You should at least be honest enough to tell people what's really on the page.

This time I appear to have been banned for my reference to HTTP://RHP-RATINGS.blogspot.com in the opening post that was deleted from this thread.

If this became the only thread where I did it and other people make references to external sites, why can't I ?

Please let me know your thoughts.
Maybe because it's exactly what you were banned for doing last time? Or maybe because you circumvented things put in place to stop that particular link being posted?

Or maybe the mods hate you. Who knows.

Posting a link to something purporting to be connected to chess, when in fact it just says "Bush is poo" is annoying and a waste of people's time. Anger is generated against the poster and the next thing you know, well, you know. Is this fair? Does it violate the TOS of General Internet Conduct? Is stepping on a rake fair? Sometimes stuff happens.

The graph is based on actual data obtained from RHP organisers. Whilst I don't like the pictures, I refer to the graph on a regular basis.
