@vivify saidSome people hate America and those are usually the crooks and criminals who want to take control of their country without free and fair elextions, or brainless College students who believe in communism/socialism. Personally I welcome the US policing the world. I wish the US would take over and annex the entire Caribbean.
"Isolationism"? What's isolationist about staying out of war? No one ever called Sweden isolationist prior to joining NATO.
All I'm talking about is refraining from funding or engaging in war. The United States gets into more wars than any other country on earth. The U.S. is the only nation in human history to use a nuclear weapon.
The world would hate America less if we engaged in more isolationism.
@rajk999 saidI've only ever seen you post negative comments about the U.S., so this seems out the blue.

I always know I'm on the right side of an issue when you disagree with me.
@vivify saidYou lack understanding and clearly you are incapable of thinking for yourself. There are many negative things about the US ... many. I point them out when necessary. There are many positive things as well.

@rajk999 saidJust going by your comment history. This is the first "positive" thing I've seen you post about the U.S.

@mott-the-hoople saidWTF...I actually agree with Mott on an issue?
all these posts justifying war mongering…the way to control other countries aggressiveness is through the economy.
My world is in shambles.
@vivify saidWrong. I posted positively about the US providing aid and grants to many countries, and welcoming Mexican/SouthAmerican immigrants... I favour that. I posted about the US intervening in Venezuela who has gone rogue. Some time ago [30yrs maybe] a Islamic extremist took over my country and proclaimed it an Islamic State where all the schools will become Muslima and learn their religion. The day after the bloooy coup US warships parked outside the Port-of-Spain harbour. I am thankful there is such a power in the world. like USA {they not perfect and I dont care to live there]. Dont ask me why I hate Muslims again. I welcome capitalism and I despise comminism and the fools that support it.

@mott-the-hoople saidIts not war-mongering, whatever that is. Its supporting a weaker ally to fight a stronger bully. Its important in the school yard, in the village and between countries.

We supply ukraine with loads of weapons and money, yet do nothing, actually help russias economy

@mott-the-hoople saidHey idiot the wars are already happening no one needs to monger with Putin invading them. The US didn’t send send a solitary boot to Ukraine and Ukraine never asked them to.

As far as the world is concerned Russia has kicked it’s US adversary off the board in Europe with its tail between its legs and I’m sure China now knows just how far the US will go in backing up its brave words of un yielding support for an ally
@rajk999 saidthen why is the US practically solely funding this war? Maybe you forget when zelensky questioned the US on its intervention saying russian troops on our border is nothing new.

you dont question obama advising russia that he could work with them AFTER the 2016 election?
@mott-the-hoople saidMany countries have helped Ukraine with arms, military support, humanitarian aid and taking in refugees. The US is the biggest supporter. What is wrong with that?

<<<< you dont question obama advising russia that he could work with them AFTER the 2016 election? >>>
I dont know anything about that. Seems to me that is not relevant to the situation in Ukraine.
@mott-the-hoople saidEurope and the uk have pretty well matched the us in funding and arms, the us was the largest single contributor but by no means the only contributor.

The European Union just arranged 50 billion over the next four years and the UK another 2.5 billion. Get over yourself son, you were asked to do your bit and your whelching on a promise to have Ukraines back as long as it takes, that kind of unreliability will be remembered.
@rajk999 saidseems to me russia took crimea shortly after obama was elected. it is very relevant to biben allowing, even provoking the war in ukraine...the big money arms dealers are rejoicing while the American citizens are being robbed
