@metal-brain saidAnd you are parroting the Russia/Republican line.
You are not well informed. The investigation was started by a false rumor and no evidence of Russian meddling in the 2016 election was found, just false allegations. There was no evidence and still is not. You were fed a false narrative.
There was no evidence Russia hacked the DNC. I realize that after lying about it for so long to you and the rest of Americans you hav ...[text shortened]... -politics/new-york-times-ukraine-court-rules-manafort-disclosure-caused-meddling-in-us-election.html

@moonbus saidThe problem here is that Republicans and MB read "hostile foreign actors" and hear "friendly foreign actors".
Below is a link to the Senate Intelligence Committee report. I know you won't read it, but someone else might.

@suzianne saidMB is not stupid. He does not believe what he posts here. His purpose here is to repeat lies (even after they have been exposed and debunked) in order to sow disinformation and discord. His agenda is quite different to that of the Republicans.

@moonbus
But the end result is what he is after, the same as republicans, end democracy in the US and establish an authoritarian government which would OF COURSE make it POTUS, SCOTUS, House, Senate ALL permanently in power with no recourse but another shooting civil war.
@sonhouse saidYes and no. America's enemies, especially Russia and China, want to see democracy and civil liberties fail, because they want to eliminate their chief rival on the world stage without resort to a military confrontation. They want to see democracy fail of its own internal contradictions, and they are actively engaged in stimulating those internal contradictions (e.g. by abusing freedom of speech to propagate lies). Russian and Chinese agents are far from stupid; on the contrary, they are extraordinarily clever at exploiting the weaknesses in the openness of the open society.

The Republican Party in America currently has a rather different agenda than the destruction of democracy and civil liberties, but it would lead to the same result, if successful. Republicans are being wilfully stupid in ignoring the imminent danger posed by Russian and Chinese interference in democratic processes not only in America but in Western Europe as well. There is ample evidence that such interference is on-going in the UK and Germany.

@wildgrass saidYou are an idiot.
You could start a thread on free speech, but that's not this thread.
There should be an assumption that everything you read on websites (like rumble.com) was put there to manipulate you. Please act accordingly and with some critical thinking before blindly copy/pasting links.
The only possible exceptions might be public news (which relies on direct donations) or subsc ...[text shortened]... ices. The financial incentives for these sources of information are aligned with truthful reporting.
Rumble does not control content unless it is illegal. Same as the internet in general.
Your position is that censorship is better than free speech. That is an authoritarian trap. You bought into it. That is what propaganda does.

@moonbus saidNo, that's mott. Metal really is this much of a nutcase. It becomes obvious when you see his posts on non-political subjects.

1) are you admitting that you're being manipulated but also admittedly posting garbage "information" in the name of free speech?
or
2) Are you denying being manipulated?
Article related to this thread, but much more depressing. The continued encouragement (downright rewarding) of dishonesty online is getting progressively worse and will end in the complete fragmentation of society.
