@averagejoe1 saidHow much access does Jared have to that money? How much access does the Trump Organization have to that money? So Jared gets a kickback and on top of that, gets his shell company to manage it so he pays no fees. All learned from Godfather Trump.
So you are saying that the Saudi $2B is NOT presently being managed by Jared’s firm? That, Jared ended up with the money in his bank account? Ended up owning the money? That the Saudi’s have no connection to that money..?
If you show me that, I will admit to being wrong on this subject and call Jared out!!!!
Bonus question: How much of that money is left?
@suzianne saidSuzianne, your lot is sure digging a lot of holes on the Forum. See this article:
Haven't you heard me say that Joe's "millions" (not billions, btw) came from selling homes that have been in his family for generations? Yes, you have. Have you ignored me every time I bring it up? Yes, you have.
You are lying, Joe. Like all Republicans nowadays, all because their godfather lies as easily as breathing.
"""Biden's father had once led an affluent life, but suffered financial setbacks soon after Biden was born, and for several years the family lived with Biden's maternal grandparents. Beginning in 1953, the family lived in an apartment in Claymont, Delaware, before moving to a house in Wilmington, Delaware.""
Why, Sueshe, his family was as poor as churchmice. There were hardly homes from generations.
Suzianne?????
@suzianne saidI asked Kev this question, everyone, and get Suzianne's response to it. (just hereinabove) You see, it is no response at all. I am simply asking, as all you libs imply, has Jared pocketed this money personally. Here response is worthy of Shav-laced porfanity. It wastes our time.

I make myself vulnerable to admitting I am wrong about Jared,, giving Sue and Kev a great opportunity to prove me wrong, and she writes THIS?!!?!?!????

You accuse SA of 'sidling' up to Biden, I guess you forgot the little whohaw when Biden asked to that prince's face about the death of Khashoggi, brutally murdered by said prince and said prince now is pulling back away from the US and towards Russia.
Jarhead has ZERO experience in handling that kind of money, it was strictly payback for getting sweetheart deals but since he is part of the family of that one I won't name, just business as usual to you but if Hunter makes some money legally, THAT is a first order crime.
Hypocrite as usual and we know good and well if it was turned around and it was Biden or Hunter getting that two bill you would be screaming to high heaven.
FLAMING hypocrite.
Jarhead is getting 25 or more MILLIONS EACH YEAR from that payback but for you, totally legal, no moral issues at all.
@sonhouse saidIf you say a guy who has an investment firm has 'zero' experience in investing someone's money, you lost me there. He does have experience, Sonhouse.. I could just scream. How does one respond to an untruth.

I don't know the inner details of Kashoggi. I often wonder how you know so much 'behind-the scenes' stuff. I also don't know why you interjected his name into this post.
Jarhead is, yes, getting a fee of 25%. You say 'for me, it is totally legal". Yes, you silly goose, for me that is totally legal. You imply that it is not?? What in the hell are you saying?? You write as if you are angry.
Tell me this. You know the TV Show Pawn stars? They charge 13% a month. On a $1000 loan, that is $130 per month.....EACH month. Jesus, you do not know the real world on that chicken farm. Here is the proof.
We Charge 13% every 30 days the loan is outstanding. Any period from 1-30 days will still be charged the same amount. (Active Duty Military members only pay 3%.) A one time $5 Fee will also be charged with every new loan, and a $4 lost ticket fee will be assessed if you require a new pawn ticket.
@averagejoe1 saidGood lord mate. You don't need to defend obvious political corruption. Go to the "website". Affinity is a shell company. They do investment stuff and Jared pockets $25 million a year. Saudi oil money. In exchange, Jared got them a discount on weapons. Out in the open, still corrupt.
Everyone: To dispel any confusion about how much Jared's fee is, the Pawn Stars people charge $130.00 a month for a$1000 loan! Each month.
Sonhouse says a 25% fee is immoral. That silly goose.
@wildgrass said1st things 1st. Sonhouse Suzyshe and Kev are dancing like crazy, really fun. Jared does not own the $2B but they are doing their damnedest to imply that he does. I will write a simple question, did the money go into his pocket. They will not answer that question they just write and write like Sonhouse.

So your post here, with all due respects, dances about discounts on weapons. And, like them, you fault Jared’s fee of 25%. My world would call that business. I can’t imagine any one I know saying “that’s iimmmmooooooorralll”. It’s an agreement between 2 parties, take it or leave it.
Then Sunhouse carries on about how high or immoral the investment company’s fee is. I pointed out that a famous pawnshop charges 13% a month….A Month…on a loan. He ignores such as this when I tell him about it. It is inconvenient .? Just like he has ignored answering my two month old question of his daughter may be being in a swim meet with a grown man.
So that is where I am. I have even defined the words give and cost, which were germane to their posts, but they write about Trump and other extraneous crap.
@averagejoe1 saidI don't know how many times its gotta be said that Jared made his deals with the Saudi government while he was a government employee.

The Saudis did not invest in Jared's "company" because they love inexperienced money managers who charge hugely exorbitant fees. They invested to pay him back for saving them billions in an arms deal while he worked for the white house.
@wildgrass saidYou think and write as does Sonhouse. He purports to know certain protagonists do what they do. Does it all the time. You say here that Saudis invested in his shell (perfectly legal) to pay him back. Doyou swear on your granny’s grave that that was why they invested the $2B?

And if a new friend that just moved to town, and he asked me to do him a favor, and hire his boy, just what moral code or legal code. would I be violating? Or would my friend be violating?
And you suggest that Jared could not make a deal with them due to his employment? Link that one for us so we are all on the same page
@averagejoe1 saidIve no problem with you arguing that what Jared did was ok. Tit for tat. I'll get Lockheed to cut you a deal on these weapons, and you invest in my inexperienced company and pay really high fees.

It's still corruption, though, whether you think it's fine or not.
@wildgrass saidNot a word in the WSJ about going after Jared for this 'corruption'.
