@AverageJoe1
Note that in the year 2015, above chart, that we beat the Czechs by THIRTY hours, I'd missed that. So, No. 1. Go USA. Netherlands are around 34th. And frankly, here, everyone seems OK with 2, maybe 3 weeks, paid vacation.
Anyway, USA per person about 1765 hours, Netherlands 1399 hours. Yeah, time off is huge! I cannot imagine. But then, one need not make much money when most needs are covered by govt. Me, I would not like that. That's just me. I like climbing to the top of the world.
@averagejoe1 saidAgain: hours worked says nothing about quality or production amounts.

How come Europe is a paradise compared to the US even though we work far fewer hours?
Government spending? They get the money from tax payers to spend it. The money’s not just magically appearing.
The happiest countries in the world? Most of the top 10 are European (New Zealand usually being mentioned somewhere as well… probably because why-yo-ma is off in Australia fukking kangaroos).
Best countries to live in? All European with Hong Kong stuck in there for some reason…(highest human developement index):

The top 10 most productive countries in 2020 were all European.

And yet you still live in denial.
@shavixmir saidAnd the only reason the USA is 11th is because they count the slave labour of the fully 1% of the population that is enslaved in their for-profit prison system, and their bottle-urinators at Amazon (who really produce for Bezos' plastic paradise of China, not the USA, but they keep that silent). If you don't count those, they're probably as productive as Angola or Myanmar.

@shallow-blue saidWell, well, I guess anyone can find anything on the internet. Number two? And China is only ahead because, indeed, they DO use slave labor.

There is no slave labor here. People can work here or not work, they can find free money, as the majority of you libs here have. Or, throw frisbees. So, your statement about slaves in the USA is quite disingenuous, and I, like Marauder, well, I just have no patience with such comments. (Have you ever typed 'I have no patience" before? Feels weird.)
So, all is lost in this thread, where we see that the USA is ahead of all, instead of the communist slave trade.
Here is the link blowing you out of the water. Next thread please.

@AverageJoe1. I guess this thread is over, the only answer we got was Shav, you get to not work hard or some such..more time off from work, wear your underdrawers to the beach? Something like that . That was the answer.
The Forum has been wonderful. Now, Check out my thread $4b overrun on illegal people. (Shav said once that no one is illegal, I will never forget it. Lib to the core. In effect, saying absolutely nothing.)
@averagejoe1 saidPer head of the population numb nuts.
PS: None of the do-nothing countries like Nethermark or any of them even make this particular list. your list vs my list!!!!
I bet no one on this forum knows the name of the president of Netherland. Boy, you fellers, with your perfect English, know all of our leaders.
If the US has 340 million inhabitants and Nethermark has 25 million inhabitants… their combined output will be lower, won’t it?
You have to maths this out to “per head of the population” to see who’s more productive.
And slave labour certainly exists in the US.
Penal labour is slave labour and it’s set in stone in your 13th amendment.
And there’s sex trafficking, child sex trafficking, child labour, forced labour, debt labour.
All forms of (modern) slave labour.
@averagejoe1 saidNo person can be illegal.

Behaviour can be deemed illegal, but a person cannot.
@shavixmir saidWrong, the fact is that factors such as this affect something as simple as the way they think, the way they travel from one place to another.. (bicycles in your entrance hall, and a plethora of biiiiiiiikkkke raaaaaaaacks all over the city). So pansy. Things produced almost by hand in your little bitty hamlets when in the USA we have totally diff production. We are big you are little. Give it a rest, you and wild grass are pitiful. A hundred carpenters working together would exponentially put out more production than seven of your carpenters.....and Shavixmir, you fail to point out that your carpenters work only about 70% of the hours than ours do. They, as you say, are taking their cxcks to the beach.
Per head of the population numb nuts.

Your comments and opinions are those of a loser representing other losers. This week is a record for you and Wildgrass going off the rails.
For the record, the combined output of 340M Americans working, all factors considered, is more (higher) than that of 25M Neterhland natives. Exponentially. Look it up. (or per stripes, or per capita, go for it)
@shavixmir saidIf I see a person break into our country, he has committed an illegal act. An illegal person.
No person can be illegal.

If I see a person step into a bucket of paint, he has paint on him. I can deem him painted, thus a painted person.
Write back to the forum that Joe is right. Why do libs not own up to anything.
@averagejoe1 saidFor the record, in American vernacular, several of these painted people walking around would simply be called Paints, as are the illegal people called illegals.

@averagejoe1 saidLine up for your soup kitchens, hundreds of thousands of homeless, people who can’t afford cancer treatment, street violence, mass shootings, 60+ hour working weeks, 2 weeks paid vacation a year…

Yeah.. you keep praising that paradise you call the US.

Actually ....... you probably don't.
@shavixmir saidNo country is perfect, you are right. We have about 40M (maybe 44M now with illegals) in the soup lines. I say pay for them and move them out of the way,,,,so we can produce, in order to keep feeding them. Are you daft?
Line up for your soup kitchens, hundreds of thousands of homeless, people who can’t afford cancer treatment, street violence, mass shootings, 60+ hour working weeks, 2 weeks paid vacation a year…
Yeah.. you keep praising that paradise you call the US.
A med thread may be in order about cancer treatments, I think you are uniformed about that. Our hospitals are big-time available. even for the illegals, the birthing mothers, etc. Be real, man.
Street violence? You got us there, we have a barnyard of animals, maybe 400 different cultures. Not quite the prolific blond hair that you have there, if you get my drift. So yeah, you have us beat in that category. Add a demented president, yeah, you are beating us on two fronts.
Work weeks, as there, are voluntary, so I do not get your drift. Many people, with proper planning, can do fine at 38 hours. If they don't plan, get married, have kids, do you think I should pay for any of the stuff they begin to need? For their college? Food? Health care? What in the hell? Dig into my hard-earned savings?
On the other hand, people like me a few years ago did indeed work 60+ hours, made me what I am today. There was no percentage in a cxck at the beach....glad I was smart.
Your 2-wk comment falls flat, in that we can get jobs if we want that allow us to work on and off however we want to, so I don't get that. Now, if a guy wants more vacation than 2 weeks, he needs to work where he gets more than 2 weeks. Don't get you there, either.
OR, like myself, work for himself and do whatever he wants to do. And unlike you, he does not consider the govt when doing what he does, like you have to. I never thought about the govt, and still dont except at tax time.
I will swear to you for what it is worth, I have never received one speck of money from any person or source other than myself.
I love this country.
