Absolutely not accepetable.
Burning other people’s children is not the answer.
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen a mother with second degree burns nursing a dead baby. Or smelled it. But, it’s not something “the just” want on their fvxking conscience.
If the perpetrators are going to hide in hospitals and school, it really makes it very difficult to avoid collateral damage.
I'm not saying Israel has handled the whole situation perfectly (or even very well), but it's really not quite as simple as you're making it out to be.

Nowhere in the law or morality does it suggest that burning innocent women and children is a justified response.
And, oh yes, that goes for Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Tokiyo and Dresden too.
It also goes for 9-11, the attacks on Jews in November and the London bombings as well.
You NEVER accept civilian deaths. Never.
Because, if you do, you make my kid and your kid a legitimate target. And that is not acceptable!
On a side note: are political assassinations acceptable?
Especially one helping in brokering a peace deal? Assassination attempts in foreign countries?
Say Venezuela assassinated the British Prime Minister in Washington… how would one expect the US to respond?
I, for one, don’t see this ending very well.
