The 7-year sentence was ridiculous, he was the mastermind behind several innocent deaths, he should have been extradited to the US and executed. Over here, he was convicted on several charges and, had his sentences been served consecutively, he would be in prison for the rest of his life. As it is he is serving about 10 sentences concurrently, meaning he will be back on the streets catalysing murder in another 7 years time.

He cannot be extradited if there is a possibility of execution.

You mistankenly associate me with being one who supports what the government has done and said. I am against the Iranian government, I hope that soon they will be put in their place and complete freedom and democracy can take over. However, I speak on behalf of the Iranian people. It is not fair to them, what you are doing. If it weren't for Americans and Europeans and their quest to form an empire, the people would never have even considered electing this government. The reason the people elected this government is because of their fear and mistrust for Americans and Europeans. If Iranians try for peace, the West merely takes advantage of it and uses Iran even more. After all, we HAVE set up a democracy before, under Mohammad Mossadegh, for a short time until the West overthrew them and set up the damn shah! It is America's own fault what is going on today, and now when Iran is trying to become more technologically advanced, the West fears they will lose control over Iran, and attempt to oppress Iran by bullying them around. Why else would the Iranian people dislike and distrust the West, if they didn't have a reason?

After reading your last post I can only conclude that you do support the current regime of nutcases running your country, yes, your country because it is obvious where your support lies and it sure isn't with the country of your birth.

I tire of saying this: I speak on behalf of the Iranian people. I do NOT support the government that is currently running, I am merely explaining that it is America's own fault why things are the way they are and we don't have a good government. Google Mohammad Mossadegh, see what turns up, read it for yourself and decide whether about who's at fault. Yes, I do speak out against what some of the things the goverment of America has done, you cannot deny that America is quite unfair. Many Americans do not agree with something that the government has done, does that make them supporters of nutcases in other countries because of it? Your hasty and unjustified accusation has no merit to it.

Western nations do not trust the Iranian government with nuclear weapons. And why should they? They have been supporters of international terrorism. What is to say that they will not pass on weapons to Hamas or some other terrorist organization? They already give Hamas money, so why not a bomb? So in the end I justify it in self-defense or ourself and ...[text shortened]... for an invasion, but a series of calucated air strikes, because so-called talks will not work.
I reckon we should send a few bombs into Iran too. Gift wrapped.

The US UK are no way superior morally to Iran. I would welcome a nuclear free world. This is unlikely to happen so the only way ensure a level playing field is to allow Iran nuclear weapons.

If Iran had nuclear weapons the US might think more rationally about its forgein policy.

What exactly was wrong with the US foreign policy prior to 9/11?

How would Iran having a couple of nukes make the US think more 'rationally' ? Youre implying that Iran will have no problem using the nukes on the US .. right ?

The leadership and much of the citizens of Iran would like to see the destruction of Israel .. so there is nothing innocent about that. I suggest Iranians go wipe their mom's genitals off the map instead of wiping innocent peope off the map ... you a**hole.

The us needs to start being more honest about its foreign policy. The remove a dictator in Iraq, but nothing is being done about the rabid president of Zimbabwe? Strange, Zim does not have any oil?

Which country conducts its foreign affairs any different from the US? Or are you another of those biased individuals that applies one rule to the US and another to the rest of the world ?

I'm implying that Iran had nuclear capability the US would think twice about bombing/invading/causing more unnecessary war.
