Darfius, dj2becker, RBHILL, BlindFaith101 are the biggest pricks I have ever encountered on this site. Have you any clue why marauder, myself, and others are so adamant against them? Because here is the premise they start out on:
I am a Christian. My mission in life to spread the word of Jesus to everyone and to bring them to His flock.
They never consider the atheist's point of view.
They never consider the agnostic's point of view.
They never consider the Buddhist's point of view.
They never consider the Muslim's point of view.
They never consider and for that matter respect the other's point of view. At least for me, searching for some spirituality in life is very, very important and I imagine it is for many of us.
I don't think the Atheist comes to the decision to be an atheist on a whim. Nor does the agnostic, Muslim, or anybody else. And even if they did, it's their choice to do so. Much like those guys decided Xianity was for them. It is what they believe in.
I've been here a little while and NEVER have I seen the Athiest launch into a tirade of threads like the above Xians. Nor the Agnostics. Nor anybody else. What the above mention folks either don't realize or don't care about is there mission is an infringement on the beliefs of others. How would you like it if I told you that everything you believe in was wrong or a lie? Most respectful people do not do that to others. As far as I know, the other religions (and non religions) are not concerned with numbers and recruitment. For some reason, Xianity is. So sure maybe we are corgies but we are taking on a 800 lb gorilla and not the docile lab you speak of.
