@Metal-Brain
Yeah, see how well that turned out in Texas, where if a pregnant girl dares to cross into a free state, gets the abortion and now she is a criminal if she crosses back into Texas so they can put her in jail just for crossing the border, forget the abortion.
Yep, girls are SO much better off now in Texas and the other super red states.
And Vance going yes to the statement post menopausal women's main function is to be a grandmother, taking care of grandkids. Vance goes yes.
What the HELL is going on with those dudes?
@sonhouse saidYou evaded my question.

Do people generally have more sympathy for girls than boys? Yes or no?
@Metal-Brain
That is ABSOLUTELY no.
Don't put words in MY mouth.
You clearly dislike women, don't know why, maybe you are so ugly you can't get laid, don't know but something is going on with you being against women.
@sonhouse saidThey do and you are in denial of that.

Girls are viewed in much the same way as babies, vulnerable and get sympathy especially from men. Boys not so much unless they have an attractive mother.
Attractive women are greatly advantaged over unattractive women. Are you going to deny that obvious fact as well? Who will get helped out the most? An ugly woman or an attractive woman? Attractive women have it easier than unattractive women and everybody knows it. Admitting the obvious is a different story, isn't that right?
If I was broke with nowhere to go I would want to be female and attractive. What about you?
@Metal-Brain
You mean some ugly man has a better chance of getting laid than a very handsome one, or is it the other way round? I guess that doesn't happen in YOUR world does it. If I look like the humpback of Notre Dame I might find it harder to hook up, seems to me. If I look like Russell Crowe, I would expect he would get laid a lot easier than the Humpback.
So what is your point? One point I can think of, you dislike women and are jealous of their beauty.
@sonhouse
Why do male judges go so easy on women? Is it human nature?
Females are perceived by men as a vulnerable gender and they show much more sympathy to them. I suppose that human nature is necessary in a society where women have no rights and are considered property of men. But what about a society where women have equal legal rights? How do you turn the sympathy off? Women are not vulnerable any more.
Human nature has not caught up with society. Women have become sharks and we still want to be nice to them. Why do women still get light prison sentences compared to men? Are men judges chumps?
@sonhouse saidI dunno, Crowe is starting to look like a blob these days.

@yo-its-me saidWhen I see what is going on in Afghanistan, I think it is going to be a long long time before gender equality reaches every corner of the world.
I feel hopeful today, that maybe, one day.

[i]State-run free bicycle distribution schemes since 2004 have targeted girls, who had higher school dropout rates than boys due to household chores and exhausting long walks. This approach isn’t unique to India - evidence from countries like Colombia, Kenya, Malawi and Zimbabwe ...[text shortened]... companies.
Bizzare really that there is this gap in equality. All males have a mother after all.

@Metal-Brain saidAnd this is why most rapes are never reported.
And women who falsely accuse men of rape imprison innocent men in a disproportionate power perversion. If they get a hair up their butt for any reason they can ruin a man's life and get away with it. Women in the USA are very powerful. Men can only hope they do not abuse that power.
@moonbus saidI don't have to go to Afghanistan for that, I can just sit here and listen to misogynists like MB and realize nothing will ever change.

Seriously, we're on the verge of electing our first woman president. As the Eagles said, things change very slowly if they ever change at all. But even so, as Rush said, changes aren't permanent, but change is. We need to stand resolute that that change is at least in the right direction. I'm getting a bit tired of this "two steps forward, one step back" stuff.
@Suzianne saidFrance was getting tired of it, too. They amended their own constitution, specifically in response to the overturning of Roe vs. Wade. Some people, at least on the other side of the Pond, do learn.

PS don't think MB actually believes anything he posts here. His purpose is to be inflammatory, that's all. If sensible people were moonwalking, he'd claim it causes cancer. 😆
@yo-its-me saidEquality is impossible, impractical and undesirable. Feminisim has attempted to encourage women to become more like men and that has had an effect on men some of whom are becoming more like women. Overall, while feminism has done some good, it created a situation in which the people have become less attractive to the opposite sex.
I feel hopeful today, that maybe, one day.

Men like feminine women.
Women like masculine men.
The differences between men and women that cause the apparent inequality, is what makes the opposite attractive.
@moonbus saidI might very well claim moon walking causes cancer. The fact that you think that would be absurd says a lot about you.

You are making a fool out of yourself. You understand next to nothing about science. I posted this very thing on the science forum long ago. The earth's magnetic field does not extend to the moon's orbit. Moon walking can indeed cause cancer which is why people should not moon walk for too long. People probably should not be on the moon for very long. It is not safe until an underground base is constructed to shield them from cosmic radiation and solar radiation.
