Someone has been claiming that hospital care in Zimbabwe is just great, can't remember who. Perhaps they can explain this recent article.

But at least they got A library. Sort of. When the power is on and someone shows up to work.
Originally posted by Sam The ShamI don't know who said that, but I was the one who referred to the libraries.

Mugabe is a brutal dictator who horribly oppresses his people. I don't disagree with that!
Did you know he was made an honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath by Queen Elizabeth II in 1994? He's the kind of guy the British monarchy approves of.
Originally posted by Sam The ShamInteresting how you cant remember who made that claim. Maybe you are making it up?

I do remember however that you were claiming that the current state of affairs in Zimbabwe was due to the color of Mugabe's skin.

Edit: For your benefit, nobody was twitting the colour of Ebagum's skin, just his complete failure as a statesman.

"I don't know about health care in Zimbabwe right now but last time I was there (about 2002) it was better than Zambia by far. "
Another quote from you, same thread:
"I have personally been attended to in a Zimbabwean hospital back in 1995. It was better than any hospital I had been to in Zambia
"
Check the thread, those are your words. We're done here.
Originally posted by Sam The ShamMr. twhitehead......perhaps I was a bit harsh. Did you or did you not claim that you spent time in a Zimbabwe hospital and recieved good care? Did you not then claim that I made up your statement? Did you not then accuse me of saying mugabe did a poor job because of the color of his skin, which is an unmitigated lie?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Seems the schools in your country did a worse job with your comprehension skills than most of these African schools you look down on...

I can always draw you a picture, if you want?
Originally posted by CrowleyWell thank you, crowley, but to keep everything in context, twhitehead has also claimed NUMEROUS times that the people of zimbabwe are "as good, and probably better off" than they were prior to mugabe taking over.

OK? BETTER OFF THAN BEFORE. His very words.
Next time you want to throw your two cents in, buy a clue first and know what you're talking about before you start with the smarmy insults. Twhitehead has the ability to explain himself, but you notice he's conspicuously absent from this tread because by his own words he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Like the girl in the article. (short pause allowed for laughter to subside)

I can't remember him posting that phrase - care to show me where he did?
I don't suppose you will, because he probably didn't post that in the context you're trying to present it here....
Anyhooo, I believe you are full to the brim with crap, so until you prove otherwise, the 'smarmy insults' (actually just facts, proving you wrong, but let's not dwell on semantics here) will continue.
Originally posted by CrowleyDo you believe that Zimbabwe hospitals are in better shape now than when they were run by Southern Rhodesians?

Originally posted by AlcibiadesNo. From what I can see (reported) it seems the hospitals are struggling, as is almost everything and everyone (except the 'inner party'😉.

That was not the point I was making.
Sham is living up to his user name, trying to distort facts - putting proverbial words in the mouth of twhitehead, so I'm just calling him on it.
Originally posted by CrowleyBoth you and the said twthead are trying to make excuses for the misrule of Ebagum after he was allowed to take over Southern Rhodesia. Then one of the most successful Countries in the world, now one of the most degraded and poverty-stricken.

I think Mugabe is bloody crazy and he ran the country into the ground.
Seriously, do you understand English? I don't think anyone has been trying to justify or make excuses for what that tyrant has done to Zimbabwe.
Also, what are you trying to accomplish by your continued referral to Rhodesia or by changing Mugabe's name around? You just look like an idiot when you do that.
