following someone else's list of dreams or aspiring to achieve 'big things' seem both like an awfully efficient way to waste your life. the first is just pointless, and the second a reflection of you wanting others to admire you.

it's the little things that count in the end.

Yeah I agree with that. Ultimately happiness comes from withen. Relying on external sources for happiness will only lead to imbalance.

I find that a very quixotic [al] statement.

I never read a book on the subject but I guess everyone talks about or thinks about all the wonderful things they'd love to do in life. I do believe people should break out of their comfort zone and try new things regularly.

Intense passion, high excitement, breathtaking exhilaration, total wonderment and deep life threatening fear coupled with that wonderful blissful euphoric after glow that fills you from the spine has to the essence of life navigation.

Theres the other side of the coin; a life without intense emotions can be deeply satisifying too, IMO.

You may have a point.. but I never meant that deep passions should rule a life.. just that people would be more satisfied in life if they get out and experience the full gambit of such emotions. I include the sensing wonderful serenity as an experience not to be missed.

Ahh, I'm at school and the book I have is the wish list by Barbara Ann Kipfer (the title has no caps, for the record). The premise is the same, basically, but it has approximately twelve entries per page, as well as spots for your own To Do items. It is meant to give you ideas. Gotta go -- the little angels are back from recess.
