I'll have to agree with the 17% though: GWB was elected president, twice. 😕
if mccain & palin win, I'll be forced to agree with the 1%.

Well GWB being elected twice is just way out of my mind. But on McCain I'm not sure is very fair to say that. I have to confess I have an admiration for the guy. He was a war prisoner (and son of a very high-patent) and when the Vietcong wanted to set him free just to show sons of high patents have preferential treatment he refused and said he wouldn't leave until all the others that were captured before him were set free (just like the code of the prisoners of war says it should be). Of course that for more torture came his way but he didn't anyway. GWB is a total numbnuts and douchebag but I think McCain isn't. He may lack some political abilities but he seems to be a genuine good guy.
And Palin is a HOTSIE!!! 😵

Any idea what percent range we do typically utilize in routine daily decision making?

17% Solution
Overheard on a USA television news program: 'Medical science research suggests humans collectively utilize a mere 1/6th or approximately
17% of the capacity of the conscious mind in making daily decisions'. Wonder why... Then, again, sometimes answers raise more questions
than the original question posed. Factor in the common ...[text shortened]... ian drones the hive would die... and, at least, political shenanigans become clear.

I'd like to see the argument that concludes we don't use most of our brain. I think it's more likely that this is simply an urban legend or that it's true only if you look at it in a very specific way.
