We have had the same situation at least five time and my opponent is ignoring my messages.

Sir, may I ask what the 50 move rule is. I must have heard it sometime when I was in high school but ignored it. 🙂

It is a tough rule to pull off in a game.

If there are 50 moves made with no pawn or piece taken the game is auto draw. So this rule would probably never happen in a game less than 90 or 100 moves.

50 moves, no captures, game is a draw.

Thanks! Anyway I made a research myself and found out that in the end game your are suppose to checkmate your opponent especially if you are at the advantage in so so moves. It seems sketchy but could be true. What do you think?🙂

Ever try to mate with just a King and Bishop or Knight? It is hardly possible, and it can't be forced.

There are several times when you might be able to dodge around for a long time. Most important endgame I think is being able to mate with a Rook and King alone... this is forced if you know how to do it and it only takes a few moves once you figure it out.

May I add something?
50 moves without a capture OR a pawn MOVE is a draw!

You left out the pawn moving part 😀

That is not true. The 50 move rule as explained earlier is always enforced.Though there are a few endgames where you have more moves, but I don't know which ones.
