I am sure the STRESS of all the bullying going on which Dive wasn't completely innocent either, was a FACTOR in GB'S medical issues. Of course none of them want to accept they could have contributed to it.

GB was the target of bullying no doubt just as Suzianne has been based on the fact of a low down no account attempt to discredit her in an obviously underhanded way.
Anyone that can't handle the stress of being targeted for ridicule and verbal abuse should reconsider their involvement in these forums for the sake of their health.
Everyone knows that belittling and verbal abuse can have detrimental effects on a person's well being, but bullies don't care, and in fact that is their aim whether they will acknowledge it or not.

You can't say for sure that the bullying wasn't a contributing factor either. I am in the same boat in a way. Although knowing what I know, I believe it was a big FACTOR.
That is why I advised GB not to bother with the forums anymore. Just stick to P.M.'s with people he liked and who liked him and enjoyed his company. Life is too short to let a stressfull situation get in the way of ones happiness.
I been debating in these forums for many years. I myself took a break away from it, but stayed on site and played chess, and talked to certain people in P.M.'s. I think at the time that was the best thing for me to do. I probably would have wound up banned from the site had I not.
I have a pretty good understanding now of where the line is when it comes to the forums. I try not to take it over that line as best as I can. Words don't bother me at all. Some people's feelings can be hurt. I hope I haven't caused that, but like you said if they can't handle it, they shouldn't be in the forums debating.

I told him that too, with all those people all he seems to have really supporting him like a puppet is Dive.
I was around when they use to gang up on GB, that is why I defended him, then others also started defending him. I saw after awhile it wasn't needed for me to defend him anymore.

Perhaps you have a guilty conscience yourself for not having done more. I can see you probably had a lot of pressure from your fellow mates. It is obvious GB was being ganged up on even MODERATORS were in on it at that time. At first all he had was me to help him with the bullys!!!
Then I went on my rant for months about things not being equal and people not being treated equal. Do you recall??? The Mods use to have their names listed, then it became a big secret of who they were and the list was removed.
I even got a few forum bans myself for my efforts, from the very mods who were ganging up on GB. I am happy to see things have change very, very much since those days!!!

I have no regrets with this website. I don't respond to pressure, i have my own mind. I've made numerous stands in the past (more behind the scenes). Do you remember the anti-vr clan and how that got taken down (remember the slogans and the pictures) and how those disappeared? And those moderators - they've gone and been gone for years.
I had lots of time for GB - i did find him condescending at times and did comment when he did but i was always upfront with him (as i am with everyone) - he even entered the prose competition one year (and voted every year i ran it). At various points GB seemed to upset a lot of people but then had a lot of people who supported him - like him or not he has a lot of people on this site that are concerned for him - this shows the very caring side of this website.

Don't get me wrong in any way. I have all the respect in the world for you. Just admit in the beginning he was being picked on by 5 or 6 in the forums on a daily basis. Yes, you did take crap down, but did you also ban the people who put it up? I know you believe you did the best you could, but I think your hands were tied a bit in what you could do.
Sure he could be condenscending at times. He was just trying to fight back at the bullys the best way he knew how. I also know there were times you did support him. Really think back though. Do you think you could have done more? Do you ever wonder to yourself is there more I could have personally done. I don't think you became a Mod until after the attacks began on GB. You can correct me if I am wrong on that of course!
I do know you were the only new Mod who had the guts/courage to come forward and say you were one. Although we all eventually found out who you all are. I don't even know if you are still a Mod or not. Doesn't really matter to me one way or the other. I do think you are one of those who tried to do the right thing at the end of the day.
You know I am quite blunt about saying what I think. I don't brown nose or try to win brownie points with anyone.

I have no idea who you are but I can tell you this much. I don't know if he is still a Mod or not. I can tell you if he is one, is one of the best Russ could have on his team. He has been fair to everyone. Treats everyone EQUALLY, something I fought for back years ago.
It very well could be one of the FEW times I've defended a Moderator if indeed he still is one. You sir, have it all wrong!!!
