Even if I don't read it there are going to be people that will and I don't think a lot of these posts are suitable for people of any age. Besides, why should I have to skip posts and treads? I know some people have higher standards than others and no forum will ever suit anybody. All ...[text shortened]... ration on the community's part, for everybodys sake.
Favs, just to let you know, I'm a guy.

Those things should not be dissused in pubic though. It is the union between a married man, woman and God.
People being "themselves" is that what we want? Do we want this site to be like this world that we live in today?
To be honest, I couldn't disagree more with the sentiments you've expressed. You alerted an excellent post because it mentioned the word sex? Does that mean that u alerted your own initial post in this thread? Does that mean you have now alerted this post? Where does it stop?
It seems to me that u are trying to push your christian values on the users of RHP, many of whom aren't christians, and many of whom find christianity laughable in its hypocrisy, sexism (is that word worthy of an alert?), and basic lack of common sense.
You don't want people to be themselves? That's the type of hypocritical crap that I'm talking about.

The worst penalty you can receive is essentially a $20 US fine.
Next thing you know, what are we talking about? What is being said? Who knows, but it all starts as one thing said that escalates as each poster sees what they can get away with.

Sorry Reagan but there's no room for God on me and my lady's little double bed.

I don't have a problem people mentioning the word in an important conversation, like this one. But to make jokes about the subject is wrong.
I am trying to push my Christian values on them. Because the forums should be a place where people of all standards should be able to meet. How exactly to you find christianity laughable? I am currently play person that is not a Christian and explaining why is is not a laughable subject. I you want I will do the same with you.

Originally posted by gameover9You said sex shouldn't be talked about in public. We have the freedom of speach though. Plus, why shouldn't it be talked about? It's not some horrible thing, even Christians have sex. And if God created it, it must not be that bad.

And Reagan, how would you feel is a Muslim tried to push their values on you? It's fine by me that you express your thoughts and feelings, but it's just plain rude to try and force your religion, or moral values on someone else.
The forums will never be a place where people of all standards can meet; it's like trying to create a utopia, it's impossible. If we do try to be more moderate, we'll miss out on some of the best parts of RHP, including the diversity (which is why I have never moderated a post on purpose, and never will).
Be a bit more accepting, less judgemental, and allow others to express themselves. The world isn't coming to an end; lighten up a bit. 🙂
Originally posted by gameover9By your own admission you want this forum to be a place where people of all standards can come and yet in the same breath you say you are trying to push your standards on them. I am sorry, but your christian values are not necessarily either the right ones, or standards of high value, they are merely your standards. To push your standards over someone else's and then proclaim an accepting stance is hypocritical. These foums are public and this forum is the general forum, as such we may be both general and public about what we say. As long as we do not break the ToS we can say whatever we like, regardless of whether you think god would disagree.

This is our world too, if you are going to join in, you have to make concessions to the popular opinons of how and what is discussed.
On another note I personally find christianity laughable, if you would like me to explain to you why, I would be happy to do so, but it has little to do with your original post, nor with whether we can make jokes about sex or not. You are living outside if you think that the general public do or even ever will support such an opinion.

You pushing your beliefs on me is far more offensive than any joke I've seen here . Do I ask for you to be censured ? No. I understand that your $20 membership fee was just as good as mine . For your $20 you get a soapbox on the forums that's just as big as mine . I understand that the best way to protect my free speech is to protect yours and everyone else's . So get a clue , junior - Stop trying to take away other's rights because in the end you'll lose yours .

Sex and things shouldnt be discussed in public? How is anyone ever going to learn? Life is full and rich, dont try to rip the fun out of it.
As for your Christian values its already been pointed out that they shift with time, you just dont live in the real world, so dont try to force your fantasy upon others.
What you could do is start off your own forum (I know you have one because you heavly edited a post I made there) and invite all the Christians to go there and post in an ultra clean enviroment.
Is Jesus breast feeding as offensive to you as it was to pc?

I notice in your definition of sex you only allow for married hetrosexual sex. What about people who fall outside that definition? Are they allowed to be here?
I find Christianity laughable because of the way it proports to be the only way to heaven. This is despite the fact that the church itself has often fallen well short of following the teaching of Jesus. However if I choose to follow all of the ideals of christianity because of my morals instead of a religious reason I go to hell.
