Sir Bowmann was awhile before my time. I'm wondering what made his

public forum threads and posts so controversial as well as memorable.

He was a creepy bastard. Plain and simple.

He treated women like something he scraped off his shoe.

No, I mean after they told him to go to hell.

After he asked them for pics.

Unfortunately, many men here still hold him in high esteem because he was always saying things they wish they'd said, believe it or not.

Everyone's got a different opinion of him. If you're that interested in him, you should go back and read the threads he posted in and form your own opinion.

I loathed Bowmann, though not for any of the reasons Super-fem has listed.

You obviously appreciated him, ranking him high on your list. Why?

We are so often caught up in our destination that we

forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness

of the people we meet on the way. Appreciation is a

wonderful feeling, don't overlook it.

You left out the personal anecdote in the form of a parable.

I'm happy to see you around again, Suzi. You make me laugh.

Why? Why, you ask... as a courtesy, of course. Impolite to flatly ignore

a member's well intentioned post. Motives for evasion aren't our biz.

...I got that he didn't like your reply and said so.

GB: perhaps you need to be less critical of a person's response or preview your reply first if that was not your intent. If so, I don't still don't understand it.
