Mine would include Alan King's entertaining "Anyone Who Owns Their Own Home Deserves It", Ken Follett's superlatively paced thriller "Eye

of The Needle" and Alexander King's autobiograhical "I Should Have Kissed Her More." So give with the goodies. Tell us a few of yours.

Your cat cares. It wants you to read to it.

Don’t Get Mad - Get Even: The Fine Art Of Revengemanship

As far as titles go, it's a definite attention grabber, at least for the truly twisted, like myself.

Should we plan to exchange Coney Island Hot Dogs and Boston Baked Beans Christmas Gifts again this year? NYC Subway terror threat real?

Well we hear there are threats every year around the holidays. All we can do is carry on and hope for the best. Personally I think we will be hit again sooner or later. And the subways are an easy target.

As far as the rivalry, I'm hoping we get Manny by the start of the season. That'll make things a bit more interesting.

Did he also write Never Eat the Yellow Snow? Or was that I.P. Daily?

For some time I've speculated that further terrorist activity iniatives would be delayed until Bush is out of office. He represents retaliation.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned Steal This Book by Abbie Hoffman. That may be the greatest title for a book ever.

My personal faves (in no particular order):

Slaughterhouse Five- K. Vonnegut
East of Eden- J. Steinbeck
1984- G. Orwell

You've mentioned novelist ambitions (in the 'Ideal Job' thread). Any drafts almost ready to submit? Working titles?

P.S. Check out my Week #14 NFL picks in 'Fun Things to Do'.

Thanks very much for asking. I have two works currently in progress, both of which are somewhere between 25 to 50% complete (by my best estimate). I have working titles for both, but prefer to keep those locked in my cranium thanks to irrational superstition.

And I like all of your picks. Baltimore to cover is solid. I think the Eagles lose to the Giants, but cover the 7.5. And I think the Jets win going away against the Niners.
