ok, I'm not afraid to admit it,... ...and noone can hit the notes like George Michaels can. I know I'm a dork anyway, but am I more of a dork because I love Wham?
And yes, you are a little dorky. Noone could probably whip your ass.

You're a dork because you don't know George Michael wrote Careless Whisper after leaving Wham.
Wrong.
There was irony about the song, as it was released as a solo George Michael single at a time when the group that Michael and Andrew Ridgeley were the two main members of, Wham!, was at their height of popularity.

EDIT: GM's first solo. I saw a music program about it once.
The entire first paragraph from that wiki article, not the shortened and misleading version that you posted:
There was irony about the song, as it was released as a solo George Michael single at a time when the group that Michael and Andrew Ridgeley were the two main members of, Wham!, was at their height of popularity. Yet unlike all the Wham! singles, it was co-written by Ridgeley. They wrote it together as unknowns three years earlier, when Michael was working as a movie theater usher in Watford, England. In a June 2006 interview on Londonradio station Magic 105.4, Michael said that he wrote it "in his head" during work and that he recalls coming up with the saxophone riff whilst boarding a number 32 bus on the way home. Originally the riff had words, but Michael declined to state them, saying that they were very poor lyrics. [citation needed]
Clearly the song was written before Wham became popular. It was included on their big hit album Make it Big. Don't insult people when you don't have any idea what you are talking about.
Originally posted by BLReidSo he didn't write it after leaving Wham!. That's what you get for not reading the whole part. 😳 It was still releashed as a solo from GM even if it was on a Wham! album, which makes it his song and not theirs.
