I had the best time making Boston Butt as GB suggested. I roasted it near 2 hours on the grill at 300f. Placed on a cookie sheet on the grill, wrapped in tinfoil first half and basted second half.
Anyway, my wife said I'd need to buy a new cookie sheet if I ruined that one.
I spent 2 minutes attempting to clean it, and decided my time is money so I ...[text shortened]... nd 3 beers for dessert.
3 hours prep and eat time, lifetime of enjoyment.

I'm of the opinion that cooking should be enjoyed, turning raw ingredients into new flavors and textures is one of the great joys in life.
I suppose I'm a bit of an alchemist, i know of no over persons who can turn "Heinz Baked Beans" into charcoal.
Please attach "Nobel Prize In Chemistry" to the microwave instructions i have requested.

who feels that eating takes up way too much time in our lives?
First you have to prepare the food, then sit down and eat it, then clean up, and this all happens 3 times each day!
It is very annoying to me and seems like such a waste of good time.
But I eat so fast.
My wife eats so slow I sit there for 20 minutes waiting for her to get done.
Originally posted by steinbassI used to feel like that, before kids. Now I really enjoy sleeping, when I can. I've bought a really nice bed, memory foam matteress and Egyption cotton sheets a whole nights sleep is something I look forward to! My friend, who's recently had a baby said to me she has had to get up early since the baby was born, I told her to try complaining after 10 years of no lie-in! My youngest awakes about 4/5am each morning.
I feel the same with sleeping. We spend so much time in bed (hopefully in bed 😛). It is a waste of time.
But when I'm sleeping I'm not able to stop 😉
