the claim that the dogs sniffed something was a blatant lie, and the cops bought it without question.
Where I come from, that's called incompetence and it should lead to at least a public apology. At
the very least.
The man has the guts to question authority. It's a quality more people need to possess. I can't
stand them spineless cretins who pull their pants down and let the officers have a round without
question, as if it's perfectly natural for another human being to push you around without cause:
"Well, they're the cops after all. Duh, maybe I should pull my pants down. Er..." Can't start punishing
people for being a verbal pain in the ass now, can we? Nor should people be punished for
showing a faint hint of intellect. On the contrary, it should be encouraged, as far as I'm concerned.

lol good point. What i ment to say was that he slowed the cops down from doing their original job. Their jobs are to stop the people, check for anything suspicious, conclude there is nothing, and wave the people byebye (must be something like this, i didnt look it up).
Our little 'friend of god' made himself suspicious, so the cops could not let him pass; slowed their job down.
"Evidently, the man was perfectly innocent, so the claim that the dogs sniffed something was a blatant lie,"
He turned out to be innocent indeed, from which i conclude that he just made himself suspicious because he likes to be a pain in the a$$, he likes to stir the pot.
You dont know if the dog sniffing was a lie or not, dont think you have all the information to conclude such a thing.
"The man has the guts to question authority."
You call it guts, i call it being a pain in the a$$, he likes to "stir the pot".

he claimed never showed any interest. If the dogs never showed interest, then what grounds
(besides his refusal to cooperate unless they brought the dogs back out) did they have to assault
him? Absolutely none. Had they brought the dogs back out, they would have soon discovered that
the whole thing was a farse, and that the pastor (quite rightly so) merely stood up for his civil rights
not to be treated as a criminal, having done absolutely nothing wrong. Granted, the thing would
have been over quickly had the man just stepped out of his car and allowed them to search him
and his vehicle, but then that would signal that the way they went about this is acceptable behaviour
for officers, which it's clearly not. Or do you honestly believe that being annoyingly right should be
considered punishable, criminal behaviour?

Why didnt i see a dog on film? This so called pastor was filming everything but the dogs?
"Or do you honestly believe that being annoyingly right should be considered punishable, criminal behaviour?"
No, not per se. But the 'pastor' was making himself suspicious. The cops treated him as the possible criminal that he made himself.
Do you honestly want everyone to always question the cops? Do you like to see that every single car at that checkpoint stands still for an hour just because the people like to be annoying?

Pastor Anderson seems to think harrassing people that protect the public is his new job. Here's a video of him at Phoenix International Airport. Listen to what he says the officer is doing and compare it to what is on the video, he's a hopeless liar.

know. Doesn't it seem excessive to you that the cop is carrying a machine gun? Geez. Is there like a
military invasion in progress, where he'll be forced to shoot down a whole bunch of enemies real fast,
or what?
That's funny. At least this officer did his job well. He kept his cool, and he was right not to answer but
refer to his chief. Also note how the pastor didn't taser the officer for not answering questions. That was
big of him, I think.
Let's hear it for the pastor. 🙂

Still doesn't give the cops the right to taser him to get him out of his car.

The officer: "You are under arrest"
The pastor: "And what crime am I being charged with?"
The officer: "Hey, these guys tells me that a canine alerted to your vehicle"
The pastor: "And I've asked repeatedly for that dog to be brought out, because I say that didn't happen, and they are refusing to bring the dog back out because they know they are not telling the truth. Because I wouldn't answer their questions, they came up with that."
The officer: "I'm going to take you out of the car."
The pastor: "Let me ask you this. When you place someone under arrest, don't you have to charge them with something specific?"
The officer: "I'm a police officer. I'm ordering you out of the car."
The pastor: "Answer my question, would you please officer. What are you placing me under arrest for?"
The officer: "You will need to obey me, right now."
The pastor: "So I have to obey you, by law?"
The officer: "Yes."
The pastor: "Even when you're stopping me without cause?"
The officer: "Hey, close your eyes"

I think the law there should change so that annoying people who like to stir the pot, as the so called pastor, can be put under arest right away if they whish not to co-operate.
It also benefits these people since they wont have to wait an hour to get what they want (getting tasered). lol
