No, actually the name fits -- it is very trance-inducing. But, only for those of us who appreciate electronic music. To me, electronic/digitally produced sound is superior, but I'm in the minority I'm sure.
If you are, it is probably due to the average age of the general forum, I am one of those mature ones and I did prefer the more melodic second example.

I can imagine it would be good car music, and especially good in the right club with the right recreational's on tap. I have offspring in their mid to late 20s so I got used to dance, and trance filtering down from their bedrooms and I kind of miss it now.

Next time I have a bud and a becks I might youtube some. 🙂

I just heard a radio show on the way to work this morning, and the (older, probably 50) folks there were talking about how they hate the digital dance music age. They compared it to the cheezy music of the 80's.

Perhaps so, but Vocal Trance music is here to stay.

It appeals to 2 different types. The Ecstasy-gobbling young ones that want to dance to it all night, and the older ones like me that appreciate the trance effect while just wearing headphones at home.

The beauty of today's digital music era is it has opened up Pandora's box, and now anyone (even I) can dabble with writing quality music. Now, the creative minds out there aren't confined by their physical ability to play an instrument, nor do they have to dedicate a lifetime to playing it to make it sound right.

There's a ton of bad music coming out as a result, but I'm willing to sift through it and gather the few diamonds in the rough that exist.

I was hoping someone here enjoyed the same kind of music and might be able to turn me on to some stuff I haven't heard. I feel like I've heard just about all of the quality stuff.

If you actually like that 2nd one, I'm certain you will like this one. Trance music with vocals is so... soothing, relaxing, and uplifting.
