Vodka. The Russians invented it, but the Polish perfected it. Wyborowska is the greatest low cost vodka available (I found out from an Indian guy who worked in the off-license with the Polish guys that it's pronounced "vee-bore-owv-ska." Or close to that. Apparently I type with a stupid North American accent as well.

In the UK Smirnoff rules, now, there is something wrong with that
Originally posted by RoostyBison grass is good with apple juice. There's another one that translates as something like "stomach vodka" which is excellent. It's sort of a spiced vodka, vaguely resembles the flavour of Jagermeister but without the sickening, syrupy sweetness.

Speaking of vodkas, I just opened a bottle of Hetman this week.. Excellent! I probably will rate it amongst my favourites, together with Chopin and Zubrowka (yes, the bison grass vodka).
Originally posted by basdBlasphemy or no - I was taught it by Polish guys who brought me the Zubrowka... The rest of the vodkas were given to me in short glasses, so for the most part the "purest form" thing is right... Try the apple juice - it tastes like apple and cinnamon...
