There was an excellent book on conversion as well as producing your own ethanol fuel... I'll look it up for you... And here it is. http://www.amazon.com/Browns-Alcohol-Motor-Fuel-Cookbook/dp/0879473002

I've read the thing from cover to cover. It has some basic suggestions for conversion of a petrol/gasoline engine, and is much less technical than the modifications I looked at elsewhere... some of these conversion manuals must have been written by OPEC they're so complicated.

Where will you be getting the bio ethanol from?

I really cant see the problem on this, as long as it produces the same effect on the cylinder (im sure it will) then it will be fine, as long as you introduce it to the engine.

No, It's petrol. Diesel cars can be converted to Biodiesel, but also need a conversion kit.

I have trawled through all the bioethanol sites i can find, but none are very helpful. Apparently i can run my car with 10% bioethanol without a conversion kit, but who would actually know the mix in their tank without gettying a chemistry set out 😛
In the State i live in a 10% ethanol mix has been used for many years now. Premixed at the refinery. I just read that there's such a glut of ethanol in the US that the price has dropped to where they have stopped building new refineries. Lack of proper distribution is one of the problems.
