Do you even read the dialog box content?
If you did, you would be humiliated to claim an impulsive timeout.
I get the message
Your opponent, with a much higher rating has decided to be silly and not move within the agreed timescale. Please ensure you punish this folly by impulsively clicking on the claim timeout win button.

Your opponent will think you are gay. Do you really want your opponent to think that?
And I'm like, "No way, I's aint no queer." So I don't claim timeouts.
😛
Edit: I forgot a word.

So let me summarise, and add an overlooked point of my own (number 4).
1) You agreed to some specific time controls
2) You didn't adhere to those time controls
3) Your opponent therefore claimed a timeout, which is within the site rules, and part of the rules of all competitive chess
4) At the point the timeout was claimed, your opponent had a clear material and positional advantage. In short, they were winning
The jury of moral justice is unlikely to find in your favour.
