What the hell would you buy a stereo for then...just for how it looks? Like some kind of art piece that also plays music?

We're thinking about buying a Bose Acoustic Wave Music System II. My old system took up way too much room and the Bose looks quite compact. However, I've never had any experience with Bose products.
