I welcome the decision. All this started with such "small" exceptions, Western multiculturalism gave a hand and lost whole arm, now they return to the source of the problem.

The mayor made it legal to ban wearing religious clothing in public. The implications of this can go much further than just beaches.
While I'm not going to criticize a mayor of a country that has faced a number of terrorist attacks in short time span, I dislike that the mayor won't come right and point the finger at Muslims. If you're going to be discriminatory, don't be coy about it.
