for some people these might be part of funny statements, whether they are part of the group targeted by the 'joke' or not. For others it won't be. Just because a statement is obviously a joke to some does not mean it is inoffensive to others. The "get a sense of humour" line is often used, but only shows a lack of empathy for the other persons position.

you make it sound like he was banned - he wasn't, he 'left' of his own free will.

Eddie has thrown his teddy out of the pram, like so many before him. That's his choice. It's also his choice whether or not he decides that he quite liked having his teddy and comes back. Like so many before him.

I guess he returned only to timeout PrawnSarnie.............that spike was a game with two moves and then he timeouted the prawn.
