For example?
Then, the same people who voted down the commuter rail, have the nerve to feign concern about the environment and complain about gas prices, which coincidentally are among the highest in the nation.

Any American players out there that can let us know of the severity of the 1000 odd fires burning there
I just want to add... oh sorry. Gotta go. I gotta give my wife a smackin', she's beatin' the dog outside the trailer.

I can only say, set more fires. California was beautiful until the people moved in. Now its just a ghetto disguised as a flower garden. And don't accuse me of trolling. The people of California fight every modern advance and then cry when things go wrong. The forest of this country need periodic burning as any biologist will tell you, but Cal. won't d ...[text shortened]... d on. Nobody cares about the wild life. Just build your luxury homes in fire threatened areas.

I thought these fires happened last year as well - there is a good solution I came up with, which agrees with the american principals of democracy and capitalism.
Why not have a private fire fighting service - that way the nice rich areas would be saved from damage and the poorer areas (and lets face it - they are most likely to be the ones who started the fires) would not be able to afford the protection and be burned up, leaving space for new modern developments.
I see it as a plan with no flaws.
