Writing and typing both fall under the category of Verbal Communication. The term "verbal" in the context of communication types is defined as meaning "of or concerned with words". Non-verbal communication defines gestures, body language and the like.

Silly moronic boy.
So if I say "I know how to body language ..." I am right.
I am afraid not.
You're obviously right and the countless established linguists and their thousands of years of work are obviously wrong.
That'll teach me to doubt the opinions of narcoleptic, internet geeks!

Nordlys typed: "learn how to non-verbal language"
Non-verbal is an adjective and she is treating it as though it were a verb. In fact Nordlys just missed out the verb and to be frank no-one would give a toss only for the fact that Nordlys corrects quite a few posters and therefore had it coming.
It doesn't matter what the word means: the correction, pointed out by Cadwah and I and accepted by Nordlys, pertains to the function of the word.
So why don't you take wikipedia and shove it?

Also, being able to type does not guarantee that you are able to talk. His verbal skills in written communication seem just fine to me, so I don't think that's what he needs to practise.
when you are unable to use these additional skills, you can still communicate. and hence, even if he knows absolutely nothing about non-verbal communication, he can nonetheless converse with a girl by using the conventional process of forming words in the brain and then conveying them by any means possible to this girl. and that was my whole point about p ...[text shortened]... he can start learning the rest of the tricks on how do get women dropping to his feet in awe ...

and with the above said, i just want to point out that wolfie wanted an advice and i gave him a few, the main theme of which was to try and fail and try again ... until he succeeds. whether he starts polishing his skills on the net with his puppy-love with raven (and whoever else he may find on the world wide web) or actually goes out and finds a girl or two, three, twenty, that he can talk to, he has virtually no chance of getting laid. and that's the bottom line.

You have never said anything nasty towards me, I am however sick of you're whinging. If the only way you will stop (as it certainly appears that you don't want to get run over) is to get laid, listen carefully...
As far as I can gather you are 17, not confidant and a bit of a pussy.
If it is talking to women that is holding you back then why don't you ...[text shortened]... er hook up with the girl of your dreams or wind up on the psyche wing of your local hospital.
