Well, Apathist, wouldn't drinking crappy tasting coffee alone or with someone special be the determining factor in what the experience means? If so, and all coffee tastes the way you'd like it to when you're with someone you care about, doesn't that settle the issue? It's complicated. I meant, Instant coffee tastes crappy, unless that's the only sort of coffee you have (ie no perfect drip or fun-loving perk). Then its not so bad! I wonder what that means.
