I no longer have my putting things on top of other things frame that served me so well back then. I'm more likely to drink the glass of beer now! I still dabble though, out of sentimentality.
Have you considered putting things underneath other things? The results could be similar.

????

Putting things underneath things is for kids. My brother used to put things underneath things until he was 14!!! (Loser).

I remember when I was in my teens I excelled at flipping piles of beer mats hanging over the side of the table and catching them. I was half tempted to turn pro if the opportunity had arisen. I may well have been a child prodigy, but you had to wait until a certain age to be allowed in the pub so I will never know.

The late, great Arthur Ramsbottom himself said one is born a putter or a flipper.

No that was Bill Ramsbottom, Arthur's brother. Now he could put things on top of other things and flip beer mats, but not to a very high standard unfortunately. (They say Bill took after his mother.) He didn't fare too well in Canada either by all accounts.

and america cut off it's own ear
can we claim prodigy status
or drown in our own fear?

Knew a kid at primary school (Peter) who was a prodigy on the trumpet. His house backed on to ours so I was privy to all his practicing. (Not a particularly happy memory).

We did however go on to take 2nd place in a wheelbarrow race, so my memories of him are not all bad.

I thought that GO might produce child prodigies but was unaware
so now there are four fields which have produced child prodigies
music
mathematics
chess
GO
I think you can safely assume tat E-Sport which is dominated by young to very young persons has their child prodigies, too.
