@very-rusty saidI think you'll find you accidentally replied to an old post.
LOL@ goad, you asked that already. Memory issues?
That is what you do when you can't think of anything to say, just say something lame.
Not my fault the rankings are incorrect goad! 🙂
Perhaps you should start learning how to speak Mandarin, as I will not be around when China takes over.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidBet it's a china plate though.
I have a plate made in Lichtenstein. Does that make Lichtenstein powerful?

goad do you stand in front of the mirror in the morning and admire yourself? 😉
Anyway you got us off track about China again! 😉 By the way it wasn't an old post it was in reply to what you had said about being around in 2050. I think it best you learn Mandarin.

@very-rusty saidSure. According to the 2020 rankings of powerful nations, China remains behind the USA and Russia.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidLet me put it this way to you presently do you think that the U.S.A. and Russia are more powerful than China?

In 2050 I would no doubt have a different answer.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidAccording to lemon my post is irrelevant as he predicts the world will end in 2049.
Yes, I do believe that.

If that is the case that you do believe the U.S.A. and Russia is Stronger than China, then why does Northern Korea ignore their requests about doing missile testing. Also laugh at the sanctions they put on them? You think they'd be able to tell China what to do? If so what makes you think that way?
-VR
@very-rusty saidWhy do 'you' think Northern Korea is more likely to bow down to China?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI didn't say that goad you did!......What I was saying is that Korea don't listen to what the U.S.A. or Russia say about their missile testing. I don't really think China even cares about it.
Why do 'you' think Northern Korea is more likely to bow down to China?
If the U.S.A. and Russia are more powerful why wouldn't they be able to get a little respect from a small country like Korea?
The U.S.A. hopefully will get new leadership and get back to where they were before they put the clown in the white house in my humble opinion.

@very-rusty saidChina is 'important' to North Korea due to it being one of its few trading partners. Of course it will show more respect to China.

That doesn't make China a more powerful country on the global stage Sherlock.
