My better half started watching Christmas movies about a month ago. She is quite into Christmas. I know decorations are not far away. Being from Canada it doesn't seem like Christmas unless there is a sprinkle of snow on Christmas eve or Christmas day.

Do you know what Christmas cake is called in March? Fruit cake, tastes just the same.
Only if you keep it that long.

Lucky you. When I got married 10 years ago, Christmas arrived and never left. My wife has a Hallmark channel that runs Christmas moves for 12 months. She decorates in October and takes it down in February. She leave up some of the doctoations like some lights that can work at other times in certain events. The only difference around 25th December really is the food and presents

How does that work? Do you have it in a tin through that time? Is that before the marzipan goes on?
Yes, or foil as it needs to soak through from the top before it is iced. Not made one for years mind so very happy with Tesco luxury mince pies with brandy.

Years ago I dated a lovely girl named Brandy and often wondered what happened to her. Thanks for the info.👍
