The post that was quoted here has been removedSo far I have been lucky with the game history bug, or at least I haven't noticed any new problems in my games yet (I still have one game without game history from the first time this happened, and it can't be fixed because it affected the first move), but I do feel the same way. Of course it doesn't help that the introduced feature is something that I feel may do more bad than good to the site, but even if it were something I'd enjoy (like I did when the Culture and Science fora were added), I don't think it should take priority over those urgent matters. I am also still waiting for the Games Explorer to be updated... The introduction of clubs smells of red herring to me, but looking at how people jump at the idea, it seems to work.

Im going to start joining the clubs under 50 to get the rating system going and expect you to do the same.
Maybe it is all better there will be severe restrictions to this club feature (say, not more than 20 members as with clans), before I will trash this feature to the nonsense bin just because of all those stupid messages...

I only send invitation to the people I like, respect and/or want to be friends with.
I do not spam people. 😕
IMO, the only place where this club thing is going is a better place: a more friendly atmosphere (unlike the clans). However, we need to come up with new ideas to evolve this "Club Thing". We'll do it together. If we can organise tournaments for example within the clubs, it would strengthen the community where many people can play and get to learn their club members better. Maybe club leads can put a prize or two once in a while. 😉
Many people will feel included (and not excluded) and can easily start games (and friendships) with other club members. Basically, this will create a new window for many members where they have the opportunity to meet new people. This is also good for non-subs.
In brief, I really like this new idea. I started a club because one of my Turkish friends wanted to create a club but was not a subscriber. He asked me to create one so people can know and track each other better/easier. So I did. Then we figured that we were only 10-15 active Turkish players in total so we needed more international friends. Thus changed the name. After my good friends kaspi, boidos, flyweesh, hells caretaker etc... became a member I decided why not include all the cool people I like, respect and want to be friends with.

I think that is good, just messaging people you KNOW they might very well be interested.

#some clan mates
#I respect as a player
# I enjoy reading their posts
# are friend of my friends
# enjoyed exchanging PMs before
etc...
Again, I apolgise if I mistakenly disturbed anyone because I would hate it if something I don't like was done to me.
