Okay... So what would I be supposed to reply?
placing in the public domain... disappointments, heartaches, physical
infirmities, frustrated expectations, family burdens, employment
grievances, pet peeves, etc, Take the question literally: "Where does
it seem to hurt the most?" Probably most palatable if provocative,
clever or humorous. Clowns are notoriously quite miserable beneath
their baggy clothes and grease paint. Beneficial now and then to strip
away the pretense. All of us, at times, play the clown role or some
other balancing act to protect the hurtful content and/or treasure
of our secret hearts. If it's not freely given, it's not worth having.
To my greeting on the sidewalk, a knowing smile would suffice.

Why boundaries? Because with freedom comes responsibility.
Think I'm quite done here. If Nordlys has any more questions
(since you know my mind so well) please answer them for me.
Thanks...

(I doubt epic will be able to answer that, so you'll have to do so yourself.)

lost opportunities and wasted time. However I do buy off on
what the Apostle Paul wrote, "Forgetting those things which are
behind, I press forward to attaining the upward call of God."
Been genetically blessed with an excellent memory. It's critically
flawed, though, in that it only remembers and recalls pleasant things.
So, as far as I'm concerned, all of my past exceedingly gross
failures (including chess games) can live out their lives in some
forgetful archives inhaling the slow smokeless burning of decay.

Originally posted by Grampy BobbyHm, apparently your question was more metaphorical than you want to admit after all. Those don't sound like "blue code" situations... What you seem to talk about is what has the worst influence on your life over time. I am a great procrastinator, so I can relate well to the last one.

Not remembering failures sounds more like a useful psychological strategy than a critically flawed memory.

technical dismissal of the wisdom of not retaining useless baggage.
Thanks. See that you've read some of the 'wrong books' too. Done.
