Opinions are great, aren't they?

I especially like the people who express them thinking, beyond any doubt, that they are true. Reminds me of Christians.

The point is........that there is no point.

Regardless of what you say/do I will continue to think/act the same way, and the same probably goes for all of you.

So why ...[text shortened]... fs? Lest you forget?

😴

Off Topic, of course. But......bleh. Maybe not so much.

😞
My momma always said, "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." She also said, "Opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one." Momma also said, "If you keep doing that, you'll go blind, fall down, break your neck, and put someone's eye out."
Mommy's a trip 😕

Today is the eighth anniversary of the Columbine shootings, In light of the more recent and more destructive shootings at VT, I do think we are a more violent society now than we ever were.

The USA as a country has seemed to lose it's morals, ethics, and most of all self control. When I was in high school, if you had a problem with a student, you went be ...[text shortened]... oes this mean that those who can should have their freedoms taken away, to make society safe?
this article presents some mass shootings in the early 20th century. they missed a school bombing from back then, tho.

Yes, the one thing about this that surprised me about this wearily predictable event (apart from Cho's Korean origins) was the way the press have focused on Columbine as the analogy - Blacksburg might have done just as well. It isn't as if America only has a school shooting every seven years...six months is nearer the truth.

You may be right about that, but outlawing them means only the outlaws have guns. They don't follow those pesky laws about not killing and stealing, why would they follow a law that says to not hold a concealed weapon?

Gun control can't help because it keeps guns from law-abiding citizens, disabling their right to defend themselves. Criminals will always be able to get guns. I f on e teacher had a gun at VT, there may have been only 5 dead instead of 32.
