It's kind of a tune up tool, all in one. I use it every day before I open my browser. Keeps everything polished up, and running smooth. I highly recommend it.

You can thank me latter.
Interesting tool I will check it out later. However I do suspect the problems he is facing will not be automatically be fixed by that tool. How come no1maruder has not come back to report how he is getting on?

Don't know why, I suspect he either has it fixed or he is busy elsewhere.

And you are right, I assumed that Malwarebites would probably take care of the issues. Or he has a problem with his memory being to low. But my suggestion can also help in some cases because it has a game booster that can help to increase his ram by manually switching some unnecessary programs running in the background off. Plus it has some other nice features to help defrag, clean cache, remove some spyware help to optimize Internet setting and browser settings and clean the registry. Along with many other functions. It is worth the download.

I never claimed it would fix all his problems, but you just never know unless you try it. I know it has helped me.

If he doesn't want to try it, it's no skin off my back. 35 million users can't be wrong.

Just another suggestion. Check into a registry repair program. Getting a free full use one is a challenge.

Sorry.

I downloaded Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware for Malware and ran a full scan (took a couple of hours). The problem hasn't reoccurred since.

Registry 'repair' and 'cleaning' apps should be an absolute last resort - as they many times do bugger-all - and care should be taken when downloading and installing these, as they are big culprits for trojan-ing malware etc. onto your PC.

Not to mention that if they are a bit buggy, they can cause serious damage.

Well, that lasted a few days; now it's happening every ten minutes or so.

Is it just with RHP? As you are a non subscriber it could be something to do with a specific advert. eg when that advert gets served to your screen, your computer/browser doesn't like it and kills the screen? Is all of your flash/java etc up to date? try subscribing
or adblock
and see if the problem persists.

It seems to happen exclusively on RHP, as far as I can tell. I just downloaded Cashy's suggestion; maybe that'll it help.

Ha-Ha about the subscribing.

If it is exclusively on RHP then it is more likely to be a browser issue than an issue with your computer, have you tried viewing RHP in a different browser? does the problem still persist? try firefox and if you don't want to subscribe use adblock temporarily to see if that cures the issues. if not manuallly make sure that your flash/jave are all updated to the latest editions. Is your firewall blocking where the adverts are being served from?

Well, keep us up to date.

Also, remember to list OS and Browser + version when you have these types of problems.

Windows Vista

IE 7 (?)

Don't tell me to switch to another browser, please.

If you try viewing RHP through another browser and you get no problems then at least you will know that it is IE7 that has gone wrong and can concentrate on fixing that or rule it out completely if the same problem persists.
