Seems you fergate the format: Complete 'Silver and ____ (not gold)' first.
Then begin the next, leaving it for someone else to complete. For example:
Bogart _____

and Bacall.

I was replying to another post (which you could tell by my quote).
Finishing the trilogy, as it were.
I hardly need you to lecture me on Forum Etiquette, like I'm too stupid to understand your game.

Creative Pairings Game
Just for fun, let's have a little relaxed Creative Pairings Game. Whatever or whoever comes to mind will work fine. For example, I say, "Romeo". You say, "Juliet". Then it's your turn to start the next one. You might say, "Lois" and I'll say, "Clark". We're ready to laugh with you over any and all pairings, however straight laced or off the wall. You might say, "Chili". Somebody else stops by and posts, "Ice Cold Beer" on a red hot August Day. He or she posts, "Cheese (or chess) and you post ______. Only one suggested level playing field rule: Evervbody keeps their mouse a safe distance from the overworked and overrated 'Thumb Twins' in the upper right hand corner of our laptop screens.

No need to get huffy or toss a hissy fit. Here's the point of reference you either overlooked or forgot. No biggie if you excercise your prerogative to ignore it. That's all.
