i recommend 'Decision Making for Idiots'. GWB used it for his whole eight years in office.

i bought and read it, and my chess rating soared by 100 points.😞

better still - drop the coin in the acid and watch it dissolve. that will remind you of aspirin, which will relieve the headache you developed trying to make the decision.

I can't decide if you're pulling my leg or if you are legitimately concerned about my misery.

So, I am searching for a nice book about decision making in general (i.e. nothing
focused like just finance, math, "life situations", etc.) whether it is PMI, cost/benefit,
lateral thinking, grid analysis, etc. or, better yet, one that includes the major
techniques.

I would appreciate any recommendation you could make.

Thanks! 🙂

What are you studying Ponderable?
Thank you for pointing me there.

I did study chemistry but I work as an chemical process engineer

Sir Seitse's 'Sound Decision Making Proverbs' Class Homework - Day One

(A) Review assigned textbook chapter 1:8, 9... "Hear, my son, your father's instruction, and forsake not

your mother's teaching; indeed they are a graceful wreath to your head, and ornaments about your neck."

(B) Read chapter 1:10-19, regarding decision making with respect to violence and those who perpetrate it.

De nada. And the book is a good one too. I've read it, twice, the dice told me to.

Having been involved in an EU-project. There were some guys trying to extract a decision making tool for micro process engineering. Somebody had to try to fill the gap between them and us 😉

Inaccurate contemporary English usage translation, Tim. 'Chains' = ornamental ancient jewelry worn about the neck, signifying

praiseworthy and honourable. Besides, all scripture must be understood in context. Here the focus is benefit, not slavery.

If you can't find the book you want, you're probably shopping at the Wong Fook Hing Book Store.
