They are not attractive to men, they are a way to compare...being a man in wetsren culture is much about comparison (though that is very wrong).

What are the clues to distinguish whether a general forum poster is male or female?

(Ignoring the question, "Why should it matter?" It seems to matter for some.)
Two feminine posting style clues: 1) text content is considerably more intuitive and 2) brevity: a woman's thoughts and feeling virtually always weigh more than her words. Also, the silences between her lines are often pregnant with meaning.

No. You cannot reply without attempting to misdirect, can you?

My point is that you really had no business bringing the gender of Duchess64 into question in the other thread, considering that yours was also in question at one time. You're not really in a position to judge others in this way, unless you are prepared to revisit this issue every time you try.

I think anyone and everyone is in a position to bring up whatever they want on a General Forum like this. I obviously struck a chord. Feel free to continue to speculate about whether I am a male or female.

I thought FMF stood for a particular physical combination.🙂

Does it really matter in the context of chess if one is male or female? We could say it would be the same if one had to indicate colour, or sexual orientation also. And what difference would it make here?

I must say that both my Ids in RHP are females (malina, now dead, and Tabs), and over the years, I have had unpleasant sideline comments/insinuations because of my feminine names, and several times I thought of changing to something like He-man, or whatever. 🙂

Two F's and an M? Sounds like a good old fashioned manage a trois to me. 😉

Manage a trois is when two bosses are both giving you directions [often in contradiction].
