Ok..as of now we have two votes for rated and two for unrated....cmon
guys..need some more input on this.
Also I will be getting in touch with Chris and Russ to make happen any
game with a non pawn star that is over his limit to play..that was
brought up by one of our lovely ladies in this event I think.
One other thought...we can cutoff entries as of Monday..or at a certain
number of players.
Right now: USA - 10 players R.O.T.W. - 11 players
Up to you Gil....I have already had alot of say in this and don't want
anyone thinking I am trying to run it all alone. Need your input too.

I would give the folks a few more days. Some people are used to 7d,
14d and even 21d TO, and may find a torney ongoing, before they
were even aware of.
I am not a torney specialist, so I would urge everybody to give their
opinion .... and value it at least as important as mine. Rated,
unrated; long TO, short TO, rating places, seats, ladies first, ...
whatever, it will be fun. We have already more than enough for 2x10,
but two teams of at least 16 would be great,
Yes, there may be some technical points to be resolved. That too is
not my specialty (well, what is it, really - nothing, that must be it).
Gilbert.
How about Chris and Russ provide a special icon for tournament games? Perhaps if we email them
the fixtures before we start, or post them in here? Then everyone could quickly look up the
tournament games and offer advice etc (sorry, bit of a novice here, is that even allowed?!!)
Just a thought - I think rated might be the way to go, unrated seems a little less competitive, and
even if we're only doing this for fun, we still want something of an edge to it right?
Why don't we set a start time within 24 hours of a specific date/time with a 7 day TO? That way at
least the games will start together...
I vote for rated. Gives players an incentive to play their best. But, I will
play if accepted either way.

PS: Cut off! I think a cut off to sign up of 2 weeks from now. Ten days
at the least. I think Monday would not give the captains enough time
to resolve the technical issues.
Sounds good John...if Gil agrees let's set the cutoff date for Sunday
Night May 5th.
All know though that if we have uneven numbers some might have to
sit out...but please sign up regardless of this fact. Because you might
not have a higher rating than some other person..but your style and
play might be perfect for a place on the team. So don't think you will
not have a shot...because i will look at everything very carefully for our
team and I know Gil will do the same. Plus...remember..this is for
fun...competitive yes...but for fun. The FIRST RHP tourney!...so be a
part of it!
That is part of the strategy to team play.
