A lotus is not that expensive relative to the cars that you think you will get. but lotuses are impractical as hell, pain in the ass for long drives

Yeah, that's more what I was getting at with the never owning one. I love the idea of them, but not so much the practicality (or lack thereof).

Same for the TVR's. I've heard they are absolute beasts to drive. They look schmick though.

What do you think of the Nissan 350Z?
