Yes, Muze. For the free photos of stuff.

I'm not sure about PayPal. I just figure, I'd rather have the money in a check or moneyorder form.

As far as I know, you have to start at a minimum of .01 (a penny). What you want to do, is put a reserve on something like a watch. This remains hidden and ensures you get a minimum for an item like a nice watch.

In the USA, a money order costs to be created. It's like a registered check, that gaurantees the money is there. The US Post Office has these, and they're convenient because most folks in the US live near a post office.

Also, if you have a money order, you can indicate in the auction that stuff will be mailed out to them faster, because you don't have to wait for the check to clear.

Good Luck.

I don't have anything against ebay, and have used it myself. But a friend at work told me last Friday that he got a call from a lady stranger asking if he (Ron) knew a certain person? Ron told him, "No, never heard of him." Then she explained that she was in the business of moving merchandice on ebay and that this person she named sent her a brand new computer (in the box), but she noticed that it had Ron's name, address and so forth on the bill.

Then she asked Ron if he'd bought a computer using his credit card? He said he hadn't, to which she replied, "Well, your credit card was charged $2,000 for this computer! That's why I felt I should call you."

Sure enough, his credit card was charged $2,000. He says the only place on the internet that he gave his credit card # was to ebay.

So I don't know now how secure any internet site is. 😳
